J-Term at Luther Seminary

Christian Education I is a pretty cool course, and it exceeds my expectations.  It's intensive, so sometimes the life-scheduling is a bit up-ending, but it's only for two weeks.

What's nice is to be introduced to the language of the education professionals from a religious perspective.  That results in us getting the benefits of leading-edge ideas from experienced pros without the Marxist agenda.  Instead of, "Let's make good little citizens full of productive labor," we concentrate on "Let's help people of all ages ask questions that help them find God."  I'd much rather deal with the presumptions in the latter.

Now I have to assemble my first-ever professional portfolio from a Christian education perspective.  It looks like it's time for a website, and I guess WordPress is the way to go.  If I use the seminary's personal website tools, the site will be gone with the account when I graduate unless I spider it and put it elsewhere.  Onward...!
